Hey guys, just wanted to tell the world (Well the ones who care
) That I am actually running 9psi (not barely but strong) with my 8psi pulley and have the timing set at 10 degrees and on;y have 2 flickers of the J&S in the mid rpm range for a slpit second. I just changed over to the "Orange Stuff" ant-freeze with about a 40% mix and it keeps the car alittle cooler then b4. I'm not saying that the orange stuff is the best (it is better then the green) but I have noticed a difference. I completely dusted off a 300ZX bad enough that he didn't even want any more. I honked and waved for him to do it again and he turned off as fast as he could. Well I have to run but damn, I LOVE THIS CAR! LATE

What other mods do you have as I have to run about 10 to eliminate detonation at 6psi and have the same results on the safeguard. Intake, exhaust? Would these help ?

I might try it but I am worried about getting the timing back to 10 degrees after the change. That is governing the amount of tuning I can do with the gears
O-well I might try tommorow but gotta go to bed.

You realize that you're getting 9 PSI because you've got exhaust restrictions right? This is why some people see 7.5 PSI with the 6 PSI kits until they install new exhaust mods. I bet you drop to 8 PSI with Kamakazi headers.

Timing on the gears won't change the timing of the crank and the ignition.

Move the Intake one to +3 degrees. You'll feel it. You'll have to tune the rest out for more power, but you'll feel that cause advancing the intake is a win-win on all installations I've seen, including mine.

On the Si kit, we see about 9 to 9.5 psi on the stock pulley and around 12-13psi on the 8psi pulley. Damn, that's a lot of back pressure restriction!

on the Venom injectors,
Give Jim Helbing a call at 205-798-0112
He sells them and that is what we put on the
last car we just tuned. Unplug old ones, put in new ones, plug back in
